Master the Art of Agentic Coding with AI Tools such as Gemini, Microsoft Github Copilot, MTCode, Opencode or Lovable (if using tablets). Rather than writing every line of code from scratch, students learn to direct AI agents to build alongside them. This is where software development is heading.

The new era of coding is here using AI agents. Tech companies like Microsoft, Google have tasked their programmers to use AI assisted coding, which can speed up development time by 10x.

Equip your students with one of the most in-demand digital skills of the future: Vibe Coding & Agentic Engineering. This 3 x 2hr AI workshop (customisable) is specially designed for secondary school students in Singapore, offering hands-on training in how to write effective prompts that produce creative, and intelligent responses from AI platforms.

Students learn to use AI to solve problems and make things of their own. Through guided practice and real examples, they learn prompting frameworks, iterate designs and layouts, debug the problems they spot, and use AI to build web apps and games in HTML5, CSS and JavaScript.

Each 2-hour lesson is structured to build core skills in communication, logic, and digital literacy. By the end of the course, students will have the confidence and capability to use AI tools not just as users, but as strategic thinkers and creators.

Recently Delivered at Crescent Girls’ School & Jurong Sec

Learn the COSTAR Prompt Framework

A Sec 1 student types “make a snake game” and gets a basic snake game. Ten minutes later, the same student writes six careful sentences and gets a different snake game: a garden setting, a retro pixel look, and food for the snake to catch. Nothing about the AI changed. The student learnt how to ask.

COSTAR is a strategy for writing a prompt so the AI can understand the intent fully. Its six letters stand for Context, Objective, Style, Tone, Audience and Response. It was developed by GovTech Singapore’s Data Science and AI team, and recommended for MOE schools. Read more in our Teaching COSTAR post.

What is AI Vibe Coding?

Vibe coding is a fun, modern way of building apps and games by simply describing what you want in plain English to an AI coding assistant. The AI writes the code, and students learn how to guide it, test the output, and improve the result step by step. No coding experience needed at all!

What will students build in this programme?

Students get to build real, working apps and simple games during the sessions. Past projects include quiz apps, interactive games, and handy utility tools - all created by describing the idea to an AI assistant and refining it together. They always have something to show at the end.

What age group is AI Vibe Coding for?

The programme is designed for secondary school and high school students. It works as both a school workshop and a holiday camp format. No coding background is required.

Do students need to know how to code beforehand?

Not at all! Vibe coding starts from everyday English, not from a programming language. Students describe what they want and the AI handles the code. The focus is on creative thinking, problem-solving, and learning through building.

What is the difference between AI Vibe Coding and traditional coding camps?

Traditional coding camps teach programming languages and syntax. AI Vibe Coding teaches students to work alongside AI tools to build real apps using plain English. Both develop logic and thinking skills, but vibe coding gets students to a working product much faster, which keeps them engaged and motivated.
